What should I wear?
It's best to avoid wearing bold colors and patterns when you come to the session. Make sure your clothes are clean and pressed. And if you're not sure exactly what to wear, bring along several choices.
It's best to wear shirts and blouses with sleeves. Trendy things are "cute", but the session is about YOU not your clothes. Avoid heavy makeup and lip gloss..lipstick is fine, but too much shine takes away from your facial features. This applies to eyeshadow as well - try not to use shadows with too much sparkle. Also, little or no jewelry. You don't want to show your beautiful portrait off and have someone say "I love your necklace".
For babies and young children, whites and pastels are best. Children of these ages have gorgeous,milky, perfect skin. They are best photographed with these colors. I can't stress enough simplicity!
